Process digitalization

Digitalize your company's processes

If orders, requests and approvals in your company still run through spreadsheets, emails, calls and paper, there is time to win back. I build custom software and automations that replace those manual steps and connect to the programs you already use.

What digitalizing a process means

Digitalizing a process means having a program carry out the repetitive steps of an activity: collecting a request, checking it, passing it to the right person, updating the data and notifying whoever needs to know. People focus on what really needs their judgment.

There is no need to overhaul everything. Usually we start with a single process that costs time or causes errors, and extend it after seeing the results.

Who it is for

  • Companies handling orders, quotes or requests by email, phone and spreadsheet.
  • Businesses with slow internal processes because of approvals and manual steps.
  • Anyone using a back-office system that does not cover some of their specific activities.
  • Anyone selling online who wants to automate what happens after the order.

What problems it solves

Repetitive work and lost time

Daily repeated tasks are carried out by the program, and staff can focus on other work.

Errors from retyped data

Data is entered once and moves between systems without being retyped.

Requests that get lost

Each request has a status and an owner, so you know where it stands and who must act.

Scattered information

Data and documents sit in one place, available to authorized people, with clear reports and summaries.

Examples of what I can build

  • Automatic handling of orders and quote requests
  • Approval flows with notifications
  • Portals for customers, agents or suppliers
  • Internal dashboards to manage data and tasks
  • Connections to your back-office, store and other programs
  • Automatic import and export of data and documents
  • Reports and summaries to follow progress

Custom software or ready-made tools

Not everything needs a program built from scratch. When a ready-made tool or the back-office system you have covers the need, I tell you and help you configure and connect it. Custom software makes sense when your way of working is specific and no standard tool covers it well.

Either way I prefer simple solutions that are easy to maintain and that you can grow one step at a time.

How I work

  1. Process map

I walk through how the activity works today with you: who does what and where time is lost.

  2. Choosing the solution

I assess whether an existing tool is enough or something custom is needed, and propose a small first step.

  3. Step-by-step development

I build the solution in parts you can try right away.

  4. Trial with the users

Tests with the people who will use it every day, fixes and training.

  5. Support and improvements

After launch I stay available for fixes and new features.

Frequently asked questions

Which process should I start with?

Usually the one that costs the most time or causes the most errors, and is well defined. We discuss it in the first analysis.

Will I have to replace my back-office system?

Not necessarily. The solutions connect to the programs you already use, so you do not start over.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the complexity of the process and the programs involved. I work per project, with a quote defined together, or hourly starting at €60/hour, with discounts for large projects and for long-term collaborations or ongoing support. Quotes are always free and with no obligation.

What if the process changes later?

The solution is built to be changed. I can handle updates after launch too, through ongoing support.
