System integrations

Integration between your e-commerce, ERP and other systems

If you retype data from one program into another for every order, you lose time and make mistakes. I connect your store to your ERP or back-office system, CRM, warehouse, carriers and payments, so orders, prices and stock update on their own.

What a system integration is

An integration is an automatic link between two programs. For example: when a customer orders on the site, the order reaches your back-office system; when warehouse stock changes, availability on the site updates.

The link is built with tools the programs provide (known as APIs) or, when they are missing, with custom solutions such as scheduled file exchange. I pick the simplest and most reliable route for your case.

Who it is for

  • Companies that currently retype orders from the website into their back-office system.
  • Stores whose prices or stock are never aligned across site, warehouse and marketplaces.
  • Businesses running several systems (ERP, CRM, PIM, shipping) that do not talk to each other.
  • Anyone changing e-commerce platform who does not want to lose existing connections.

What problems it solves

Double entry and errors

Orders move between systems without being retyped, which reduces mistakes in codes, addresses and quantities.

Stock out of sync

Availability aligned between warehouse and site, to avoid selling products you do not have.

Inconsistent prices and price lists

Prices, discounts and terms are read from your back-office system, so the site shows the same values as your offices.

Staff time lost

Less manual work for the order desk and warehouse, and more time for work that adds value.

What I can connect

  • ERP and back-office: orders, customers, prices, stock, invoices
  • CRM and email marketing tools
  • PIM and product data
  • Warehouse, logistics and carriers
  • Payment systems
  • Marketplaces and price comparison sites
  • Internal tools and custom software

How I build it

Before writing code I check what your back-office system allows: whether it exposes integration tools, works with files, or needs an intermediate layer. Then I decide what to sync in real time, such as stock, and what in batches at set times.

Integrations are designed to cope with moments when a system does not respond: errors are logged and retried, and you can see what happened. I work with Magento 2, Adobe Commerce, Mage-OS, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Shopify.

How I work

  1. Flow mapping

I work out which data must move, in which direction and how often.

  2. System review

I check what your back-office and other programs offer for integration.

  3. Development

I build the integration in steps, starting with the most important flow, usually orders.

  4. Tests on real data

Trials with real orders and products before switching the link on.

  5. Monitoring and support

After go-live I watch for errors and step in if something changes.

Frequently asked questions

Can my back-office system be connected to the store?

Almost always yes, though how differs. After a first check I tell you how and what it takes. If the system is very old there are still intermediate solutions.

How long does an integration take?

From a few days for a simple link to a few weeks for several systems. After the analysis I give you an estimate.

What happens if the back-office system is offline?

Operations that fail are logged and retried later, so orders are not lost.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the systems involved and the flows. I work per project, with a quote defined together, or hourly starting at €60/hour, with discounts for large projects and for long-term collaborations or ongoing support. Quotes are always free and with no obligation.
